Ideally e-card banners should be between 1000 and 2000 pixels wide, and the width should be more than twice the height. Lower resolution images will be accepted but the lower quality may be noticeable on the finished card.
If the width is less than 1.4 times the height, the image will be squashed to fit the top half of the card.
The image you upload will appear at the top of each page of the e-card. Nobody can add messages over the top of it. Additional e-card pages will be created when there is no room for new messages on existing pages.

Front Page - the front page of physical cards should be 1754 pixels by 2480 pixels for A5, or 2480 by 3508 for A4. Lower resolutions will work, but may affect print quality.
The height should always be approximately the width multiplied by 1.41 (or the width should be approximately the height divided by 1.41) to ensure the image isn't squashed or elongated.
People who are adding messages to the card cannot add any to the front page.
Please do not place any text or significant parts of the picture close to the edge of the image, as it is possible that part of the image may need to be trimmed slightly after printing.
Inside Pages - the page on the left of the inside of the card will always be blank, and is available for people to add messages.
The page on the right of the inside can optionally have an image in the middle (maximum half the page width and/or height). This can be a photo, or some large text saved as an image if preferred. People will be able to add messages to this page but will not be allowed to overwrite this image.
Back Cover - the back cover can also have an image in the middle (maximum half the page width and/or height). No other messages can be added to the back cover.
For the inside and back cover image, the maximum pixels are 877 width, 1240 height for A5, or 1240 width, 1754 height for A4. The image proportion will always be maintained.
